Route Verte (quebec) – 2012
It was an unusually hot August in Quebec as we followed the St. Lawrence from Montreal to Quebec City along some of the many roads and trails that make up the Route Verte cycling network. My travelling companions took a train back to Montreal, but I turned the ride into a 450 mile loop, venturing down into the Eastern Provinces on my way back. If you go, brush up on your French. You might end up with a broken spoke and a mechanic who doesn’t speak English!
