prague to budapest – 2017
After a 2016 tour of northern Italy I decided that self-guided tours are better suited to my goals and personality than fully-guided versions. The tour company provides bikes and maps, books hotels, and moves your luggage. The rest is up to you.
In 2017, I found a company (Europe Bike Tours) that offers a variety of options. We decided on a ride that started in Prague, meandered through rural Bohemia and Moravia, and stopped for a break in Vienna before continuing to the eastern European capitals of Bratislava and Budapest.
